Rainbow Tables

Our Rainbow tables break down the multiplication and division facts into small, achievable steps so the children know what they need to do to complete a step and know what the next step is. Each child will receive their own times tables booklet at the end of KS1 which they can take with them through KS2. If the children are working at age related expectation they will have completed red, orange, yellow and green stages by the end of Year 2 and then will work on the blue stage during Year 3. In Year 4 we aim for all children to complete the indigo stage so they are ready to complete the Multiplication Check in the summer term. For those that are fluent in their multiplication facts up to 12 x 12 they can work on the violet stage. When a child completes a stage they will receive a certificate from their class teacher.
