Shining Brightly
As part of our Vision we want all our children to leave South Wellfield First School as Well-rounded individuals who have an exciting range of rich experiences which go 'Over and Above' the curriculum offer. We want to develop our children's character so they can discover what it is that makes them 'Shine Brightly' and have the opportunity to celebrate their talents. Here is a list of some of the additional enrichment activities on offer:
- Residential visit in Year 3 and Year 4
- Whole school visit
- Visiting a local library
- Participate in a sporting event off site
- Whole school themed events
- Meeting an author
- Work cross year group
- Take part in a performance
- Take part in a class assembly
- Have access to a range of extra curricular clubs
- Learn French from KS1
- Collaborate with Wellfield Middle School
