Vacancies

For September 2024, we are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant for 33.75 hours per week.  The salary will be Grade 5 point 7 to 9.

South Wellfield First School is a school where we all shine brightly.  Our children are kind, caring and inquisitive and every moment of every lesson is spent on developing their knowledge, understanding and having fun!  Our new Learning Support Assistant must have a passion for education and ensuring that every child fulfils their potential, whatever that may be.

South Wellfield is a forward-looking school, keen to learn from the most up to date educational research and build it into our practice.  Our school would be the ideal place for a Learning Support Assistant to thrive and continue on their own learning journey.

You can access an application pack by downloading from the jobs north east website or our school website - South Wellfield First School - Vacancies (southwellfieldfs.org.uk)

We can offer you:

  • An amazing school full of kind, inquisitive and happy children
  • A supportive and dedicated senior leadership team, keen to develop everyone
  • A wonderful community, who work together for the benefit of the school

To find out more, we are offering a chance to look around our school and ask any questions you may have.  These will take place on Wednesday 26th June at 4pm.  Please email the school office on swfsadmin@southwellfieldfs.org.uk or call 0191 643 3300 to book a spot.
